The following events are included in the delegate registration fee:Delegate Luncheons, Coffee Breaks: Provided Monday through Wednesday. All Coffee Breaks will be held in the Sponsor Exhibit Hall (Libertador Section A and Foyer), which will be open for viewing throughout the Conference. Welcome Reception: The Banco Central de la Repúblíca Argentina has graciously agreed to host our delegates at a Welcome Reception at the Palace San Martín on Sunday, May 9, 2010, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is an historical and beautiful facility and roundtrip transportation will be provided from the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel and Convention Center. Exhibit Hall Cocktail Receptions: Held Monday & Tuesday evenings from approximately 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Sponsor Exhibit Hall located in Libertador Section A and Foyer. Gala Dinner: Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the El Zanjón. Roundtrip transportation will be provided from the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel to this unique location. Special entertainment is included as well as the IACA Awards Ceremony. Registered delegate spouses/guests are invited to participate in the Receptions and the Gala Dinner. Please complete the designated spouse/guest registration section during the on-line delegate registration process; additional fees are applicable. Spouse/Guest Tour:Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2010, the registered participants will depart the Sheraton Hotel for a visit and guided tour of the Recoleta area of Buenos Aires. This area includes the historic Nuestra Senora del Pilar Church, and the Recoleta Cemetery, where the important Argentine icon, Evita Perón, is buried. From Recoleta the tour proceeds to Tigre Port. This is an immense gateway to the Paraná River Delta. Participants will board a traditional wooden boat for about a one hour relaxing sail along the Delta to view the beautiful labyrinth of islands before returning to port. A welcome oasis awaits the group in San Isidor, a well-preserved historical residential area, and La Lucila, following on to Martinez where lunch is planned. After lunch, and on the way back to Buenos Aires, the tour will stop in Palermo, "a town within a town". At Palermo Soho, participants will have an opportunity to see the Plazoleta Cortazar in Palermo Viejo, home to the original designer stores, before returning to the Sheraton Hotel at 4 p.m. |
